Gou Gu Nao green tea started from 1796, 200 years history is really short compared with other green tea in China. But right after facing the world, Gou Gu Nao was immediately selected as the Emperor's tribute. It's planted in the South part of Luoxiao Mountain, Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province. The tea was named after the Gou Gu Nao mountain which looks like the head of dog. The water, soil & weather of Gou Gu Nao moutain is extremely suitable for the growth of high class tea. The whole production procedure of Gou Gu Nao is very strict, super class Gou Gu Nao request "1 leaf + 1 sprout", tea leaves can not be picked with dew, with rain or with strong sunshine. Tea Leaves are carefully selected after picking. The whole production procedure were kept as a family secret handcraft until the sixth generation revealed the secret to the government in 1964, our tea farm was founded in this year, by when the total turnover of Gou Gu Nao tea is only less than 100kg/year.  It's product of geographical indication. Won "Medal of Award" in Panama -Pacific International Exhibition San Francisco, 1915.
